Denne, part of the Leadbitter Group, has completed the construction of 38 family apartments in Harlesden, North London, on behalf of Kitewood Estates to provide much-needed social housing for the area.

The seven storey development on St Mary’s Road comprises apartments of varying size, including one purpose built, ground floor apartment designed for physically disabled tenants. The units are now available for rent and shared ownership through the Catalyst Group.

Denne and Kitewood Estates commenced building work for the apartments in April 2010, following the announcement by the London Borough of Brent of their regeneration proposals for Harlesden.

Now completed, the £4 million building is the latest in a series of developments constructed as a result of the partnership between the two organisations, which has seen the completion of nearly £30 million of housing contracts in Greater London.

Graham Brown, Managing Director of Denne, said: “We are delighted that we have completed this development in Harlesden. The apartments at St Mary’s Road are part of the overall regeneration of the London Borough of Brent, and we are pleased that we could work with our partners at Kitewood Estates to be part of it.”

Denne, a specialist in social housing and regeneration, is currently working on a £35 million urban regeneration project in nearby South Kilburn, which will provide 286 new homes, as well as a new transport infrastructure, a school, healthy living centre, community space, offices and sports provision for the Borough.
