About Bob Rendell
Bob has been at the helm of the Leadbitter Group for over 25 years, with overall responsibility for its management and strategic direction. He has overseen the company’s growth to its current position as a leader in the UK construction and housing markets.
In addition to leading the Group's acquisition of Denne in 2006, strengthening its position in the South East of England, Bob most recently led the management team in partnering with Bouygues Bâtiment International to acquire Leadbitter back from Heijmans NV, which had purchased the company in 2003.
A passionate proponent of the Group's culture and values, Bob firmly believes that the people who work within the Leadbitter Group are its most valuable asset and that he and his fellow Main Board Directors are responsible for ensuring that they create an environment in which people enjoy working and are able to succeed.

Paul Abson
Deputy Group Chief Executive
About Paul Abson
Paul joined Leadbitter in 1995, was appointed Main Board Director in 1996 and most recently took on the role of Deputy Group Chief Executive. He is responsible for the Group’s commercial aspects and is heavily involved in the development of new strategic business opportunities.
He leads the Group's overall bidding strategy, providing leadership and advice to the regional business units and their commercial teams. He has been instrumental in coordinating the bids for the majority of the Group's major framework deals and acts as key client contact for many of these, ensuring that Leadbitter operates collaboratively to maximise benefits for all involved.
Paul has championed the Group’s approach to being a total construction service provider, and his commitment to a team-orientated ethos has enabled Leadbitter to develop a truly integrated approach to its business.

Steve Burgess

About Steve Burgess
Steve joined Leadbitter in 1993 and was appointed Main Board Director in 1996. He has ultimate responsibility for the quality, health and safety, environmental and programming functions of all projects undertaken by the Group.
Steve sees his role as ensuring the right culture within Leadbitter—one where its high calibre people are recognised and rewarded for their efforts and where quality, health and safety and environmental responsibility are of the highest importance. He has been—and continues to be—instrumental to the Group's strong record of building quality teams that provide Clients with a superior final product, on time and within budget.
In addition, his passion for engaging with local communities and developing young talent is reflected in Leadbitter's many accomplishments in these areas, including its successful apprenticeship programme.

Graham Brown
Main Board Director
About Graham Brown
Graham joined the Leadbitter Group as part of the acquisition of Denne in 2006. As Denne’s Managing Director since 1986, Graham has grown the company from a £4m contractor to its current size of £100m in annual turnover.
Appointed Main Board Director of the Leadbitter Group in 2011, Graham brings to the Group his experience in leading award-winning PFI projects, as well as major development and regeneration projects involving innovative forms of funding, cross subsidy schemes and joint ventures within both the private and public sectors.
Graham’s commitment to engaging with the communities in which the Group operates and providing training opportunities has led to the successful development of National Skills Academy for Construction accredited Skills Centres on multiple projects across southern England.
