Following the successful school visit, Leadbitter received an invitation from Education Business Partnership Ltd to take part in the ‘Meet the Construction Professionals’ Initiative run in conjunction with Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Education Business Partnership Ltd.

The events, which are held regularly across Hampshire, consist of an hour of ‘speed networking’, during which time construction professionals are grilled by students on the best way to forge a successful career in construction.

The Leadbitter employees who have taken part in the events have been extremely impressed by the energy and enthusiasm that the students displayed, and were greatly encouraged by the depth of young talent ready to be recruited into the industry.
