The overall aim of the industrial placement programme is to engage students in the second year of their degree within the business to raise aspiration and acquire a sense of achievement within Leadbitter.
Working their placement year, students are given the opportunity to meet role models and find out the many career opportunities across the construction sector. We arrange and agree a fourteen month industrial placement programme which will include Site Management, Quantity Surveying, Estimating and Buying. A training programme is also agreed, which will include Health & Safety, Commercial, Technical, and IT.
Placement students benefit from regular reviews to ensure that they are getting the best from your industrial placement year.
Leadbitter will, for bright capable students who have excelled in their placement year, offer sponsorship for their final year at University and may be able to offer full time employment.
